Perennial unveils updated web site
We are proud to announce our latest web site enhancements. Much of the improvement has been done behind the scenes and will be unnoticeable to our casual users. But you will note, among a multitude of other improvements, that we have a new blog and have installed a membership feature that only allows registered members to access our online bill pay feature.
So what's new? Well, we worked closely with our fabulous development partner, 16toads Design, to convert our old web site into a fully-functional CMS (content management) driven web site. This will make it far easier for Perennial to handle all the day-to-day site maintenance, as well as some more advanced features that include the ability to create new content and completely manage our property descriptions and information online. A full three quarters of the improved site is driven dynamically by the CMS ... We don't know exactly what that means from a technological standpoint, but from a site maintenance standpoint, it's fantastic.
The main purpose of this upgrade was to pull our monthly maintenance tasks in-house and we are thrilled to have a system that allows us to manage the site on our own. The site has also been built to allow for future expansion and improvements.
